Description

While creating new machine using Xenserver compute resource, interfaces tab is empty. Pushing "Add Interface" button do nothing. Tried with same result against XenServer 6.2, 6.5, 6.5 SP1, XCP 1.6.
- foreman-xen plugin version 0.1.1 installed from Github
- Foreman version 1.8.1
- I'm able to see virtual machines through Infrastructure > Compute resources -> Server -> Virtual Machines
However, there is interface defined in interfaces tab, if creating bare metal machine

production.log with enabled debug is attached.

Update:
While clicking on the "New host" window I was able to find how to get Interfaces tab populated with the interface:
1. Leave "Name" empty
2. Select "Host group"
3. Select "Deploy on"
4. Get back to "host" and enter host name

I was able to reproduce issue using Libvirt (KVM) Compute Resource. Probably issue is not related to Xen, so feel free to transfer to approprotae project then.

Sorry, there is typo above. Should be:
4. Get back to "Name" and enter host name

as this is an rvm install and production: did you precompile the assets?

I have precompiled assets and migrated DB on Foreman version upgrade using the following commands:

RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake db:migrate
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake db:seed assets:precompile locale:pack

Repated once again now without success.

Daniils can u please advise in which browser and under which OS you experienced this issue?

I'm using MacOS X 10.10.3. Tried both on Firefox 38.0.5 and Chrome Version 42.0.2311.152 (64-bit).
As I wrote earlier, this issue os not Xen specific. I got same result with Libvirt Compute Resource as well.

I understand:
can you give us this info as well?

I don't see in your log any call related to "HostsController#interfaces", can u please share full debug log which is starts from initial Foreman launch, thx

Hi!

Sorry for late reply, but this issue is not applicable anymore.
The only thing changed was passenger upgrade, so may be that caused the problem.
Anyway, you can close the issue now.

Thanks for you help so far!
