Description

I'm trying to set up a repo sync in Katello to a repo that uses a certificate signed by an internal self-signed CA. The repo in question is https://repo.godshell.com/rhel/7

Katello won't allow the sync, kicking this error :

Yum Metadata: [Errno 1] _ssl.c:504: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

Per ehelms, this scenario isn't currently supported. It was recommended that I look at using pulp-admin directly to add the certificate. While this is a good short-term solution, a proper longer term solution would be better.
