Our internal organization setup has driven me to consider this request.

We have:
  • the "Infrastructure group" who is responsible for the OS and hardware.
  • the "Web group" who adds our web servers on the systems provided by the "Infrastructure group", they only support the web software
  • the "Database group" who adds our database servers on the systems provided by the "Infrastructure group", they only support the database software

Given our setup, it would be nice if elements from the "Infrastructure group" could be inherited by the others. I'm thinking of similar behaviour to how locations inherit now.
