How to provision special operating systems

A special operating system is usually a linux based distro that doesn't fit the foreman mold and requires special boot instructions.
The following is a list of distros that have the potential to be pxe booted using the provided instructions.

  • VMware ESXi server (example: esxi4.1+)
  • Universal or Ultimate Boot discs
  • Dell firmware and quickstart cds
  • HP firmware and smartstart cds
