in cloud environments like OpenStack, we use Heat templates to deploy hosts, and included in the template are start-up scripts which run puppet to join the hosts to Foreman. Then we use Foreman to sign the key and make the host managed, so it would be really nice if when making the host managed, DNS-records would be automatically updated.
