Description
Foreman allows exporting of templates, it should also provde a way to import them.

FTR, importing the content of the template is possible (below the editor field, you can upload the file). If you're interested in import with the metadata, the logic is in foreman_templates plugin. It may be worth taking it from there and keep the plugin just for the actual git/FS interaction.

I really do not remember what I meant by this issue, clearly the templates plugin has been merged into core and it provides importing and exporting. I guess I am closing this one.

Oh its HAMMER project, that might be still valid.

Templates plugin was not merged to the core. It's still there and is useful for doing the bulk import of a git repo. Also it allows to parse the metadata and do the template association, comparing to the importing functionality that exists in the core.
