as seen here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#servername

 For optimal reliability and predictability, you should specify an explicit hostname and port using the ServerName directive

This was causing an issue related to http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/10387 where the ssl cert was improperly set in the crane virtual host, and that SSL cert configuration bled over into the main pulp server's virtual host
