Bulk update of packages on content hosts doesn't work
Description
I have several hosts that need to be updated. I can accomplish this via the "Update All" button on each hosts Packages page, or I can bulk update all hosts via the Bulk Actions page. Using the Bulk Actions page I'm presented with a text field in which I need to specify which package to update. Per information from IRC, I entered a * in the field and clicked update.
The system takes the input and displays a success banner indicating that the task has been created. However, checking the tasks list, there is no task for this. And checking the hosts, they were not updated as requested.
The Update All button does work for each individual host, albeit a tad slow when you're talking about a large number of hosts.

The inclusion of remote execution as an option has changed this area of code. Please re-test and re-open if you are still finding it not meeting your needs.
