I'll present the issue with an example on our production env.
We do have server that was providing good reports.
Then, after an update on it, this server reported a bad report (error state). Then this host never reported anymore.

So after 5 days, on the dashboard we do see 1 out of sync host (OK).
But on the hosts part, we do see a red icon "E" for that specific server, which makes things totally unclear in fact.
The "E" looks normal since the last report for that host was an ERROR, but well for 5 days this host does not report, so not really in "E" state.

In my opinion, an icon with "O" for OutOfSync is needed to avoid unclear state.
