Bug #15101
closedOut of Memory error while syncing repo
Description
Centos 7 Install
Katello 3.0-rc4
Foreman 1.11.2
Libvirt VM
4 CPUs
8GB ram
300GB drive
While trying to sync repos, I got a kernel Out of memory error and it killed all my pulp tasks.
I was syncing the Fedora 23 repo updates and os the second time this occurred. The tasks were running for about 4 hours when this occurred.

Going to test this, likely a pulp issue

As a note, it seemed when I updated my vm to 16 GB of memory, the problem went away.

I discussed this with pulp team, we suspect it's https://pulp.plan.io/issues/1716.
This bug is fixed in Pulp 2.9.0, but we will need to wait for at least 2.9.1, which has some additional fixes we need.
I believe Katello 3.1 is aligned with Pulp 2.8, so marking this as 3.2.0.

Pulp 2.9.1 has been tagged into nightly, marking this as closed since it was fixed in pulp.
