Description

I just added the memorysize_mb fact to my trends in Foreman 1.9 (let me know if this is fixed in a later version, as I'll schedule an upgrade of our production machines).

The various machines I manage mostly have 8 GB of RAM, but report that as 7772.57, 7772.82, 7774.37, 7776.90, 7783.87, 7934.31 and 7935.72 MB depending on slight differences in hardware or configuration.

Some people may want to see this detail, but I just want to see to the nearest GB how much RAM machines have, so I'd like to be able to tell this Trends graph to combine all points between, say, 7500 and 8500 into a single bin called 8 GB; 8500 and 9500 as 9 GB, etc. For other views of the same data, perhaps it's important for my colleagues to track other granularities, so this ought to be configurable per trend.

It might be a pain to set up all the groupings manually (though having that flexibility would be great), perhaps there could be a shortcut to define a group size, in this case 1000, and the trend graph to work out automatically what it needs to do.
