Description

Cloned from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1337426
Description of problem:

A customer, is heavily using Composite Content Views within Satellite 6 and did come across an issue, when applying incremental updates.
In a composite content view, we have a tab "Content Views", that is showing the content views that are assigned to this composite content view, with the ability to choose any given and active version of this content view.
Once we publish a composite content view, we can click on the version of the composite content view (5.0 for example). In the menu that is opening, there is tab called "Components". In this option, we can see all the content views that are part of the composite content view with the version that was selected when the composite content view was pushed.
Now, when we apply an incremental update to a given content view that is part of a composite content view we get a new version of the given composite content view (for example 5.1).
When selecting the "Content Views" tab, we still can see all content views that are part of this composite content view.
But if we select the version (in this example 5.1) and then goto "Components", we only see the content view, that was modified via the Incremental Update with the updated version.
All the other content views that are part of this composite content view are not shown.
This can be quite disturbing as from a logical point of view it would mean that only this content view is now available in the given composite content view.
This is why, we are requesting this view to be adjusted (once an incremental update is applied) to properly visualize all the content that is available in a given composite content view (that is published).
Maybe with special coloring we could highlight the incremental change or do some other magic. But with the current visualization, we'll have customers wondering what happen to the rest of their content, once they applied an incremental update.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite 6.2 BETA SNAP 11
How reproducible:
Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. N/A
Actual results:
Only the content view that was changed via Incremental Update is shown under Components when selecting the version of the composite content view that was created via incremental update
Expected results:
Better visualize this part, to show the customer that all content views are still available in the given configuration to avoid confusion and fear of data lose.
