Description

When exporting a CV, the version # of the CV version is baked into the path. For example:

/var/lib/pulp/katello-export/Default_Organization-CV1-v2.0/Default_Organization/content_views/CV1/2.0/custom/A/zoo/

This makes it difficult when re-publishing new versions, since the version # will change the path, forcing users to update the URL.

One way around this would be to create two symlinks, perhaps one in /var/lib/pulp/katello-export/Default_Organization-CV1-latest, that points to the latest published version, and one in the CV1 directory that points to 2.0. This would let the published path stay the same so syncs would keep working even after publishing a new version.
