Description

We generally bond em1/em2 (eth0 and eth1) on our machines, which means they need to become virtual NICs in the Interface config--but during discovery, this is impossible. It means we have to remove the interfaces and re-add them.

Is this intended behavior? Can it be changed?

Hello,

the same problem is for auto-provisioning and we would like to solve this with #13847.

Interactive provisioning of discovered hosts is not our top priority, so I believe the linked issue will get fixed sooner. Feel free to send patch for the interactive way if you need this.
