Smart proxy - 1.14.1 - Windows 2008R2 - uninitialized constant error - DHCP
Added by Jack Watroba almost 8 years ago.
Updated over 6 years ago.
Description
Smart Proxy 1.14.1 on Windows, when trying to build a new system, the DHCP smart proxy on Windows fails with this error:
E, [2017-02-03T16:34:47.664152 ] ERROR -- : uninitialized constant DhcpsApi::Win2012::Misc
Did you mean? DhcpsApi::Misc
Could you enable debug-level logging on smart-proxy and post the complete log of the failure please?
Is this happening when you are trying to get an automatic ip address suggestion? If so, this feature isn't available on Windows 2008, you'll need Windows 2012 and later.

Oh, yeah from the behavior it seems like it's when it's getting an IP suggestion, which has been working on 2008R2 up until this point. If it's no longer supported, I'll update. Thanks.
