'Show host power status' with a large number of hosts causes UI to be unresponsive

Description

I am currently showing 300 hosts per page and when 'Show host power status' is enabled, the UI locks for several minutes at a time. Is there something that can be done to improve this?

This is impacting us as well. We display 50 per page, but with some compute resources over high latency connections, and this becomes quite noticeable.

As a workaround it's possible do deactivate this feature in Settings -> General -> Show host power status.
