Description

If a user has 2 physically separated Foreman servers, it would be nice to have an import/export feature that would allow to sync them. The suggestion is to create an export.tgz on one instance, copy it over and import the information into the other instance.

Requirements:
  • export archive should be easy to create via UI/CLI
  • we could choose a subset of items that are going to be exported - if changes were made only in a certain area, then there is no need to export/import everything

Overall, it should be possible to sync:
- kickstarts
- pre/post scripts - in the correct order
- users
- user groups
- host collections
- activation keys
- settings
- config groups
