I'm using the infoblox provider for managing host records in DNS with Foreman.

If I edit a managed interface and change the ip address and also uncheck the 'Managed' checkbox, Foreman still removes the dns/dhcp record. I would think that setting the interface to unmanaged would prevent any changes in DNS?

If I split this to two steps it works: first I edit the interface and uncheck 'Managed' and save and then edit again to change ip address. With this method there is no changes made do DNS, but it should work doing it in one step.
