Description

Installing katello nightly fails on:

 Error: python2-kombu conflicts with python2-amqp-2.4.0-1.el7.noarch
 Package: 1:python2-kombu-4.0.2-10.el7.noarch (pulp)
           Requires: python2-amqp < 2.3
           Available: python2-amqp-2.2.2-4.el7.noarch (pulp)
               python2-amqp = 2.2.2-4.el7
           Installing: python2-amqp-2.4.0-1.el7.noarch (epel)
               python2-amqp = 2.4.0-1.el7

A workaround:

Add exclude=python2-amqp to /etc/yum.repos.d/epel.repo

Setting priority high, as it prevents installation of nightlies at the moment

  • Status changed from New to Resolved

While katello-nightly isn't green, it no longer fails due to this dependency issue. Marking as resolved per irc convo with inecas.

This was fixed in pulp's upstream nightly repos.
