Description
Current Foreman behaviour is to only retrieve netboot files (such as initrd.gz; linux; pxelinux.0; etc.) from the 'bionic' directory structure (or whichever release is selected).
However, the files located there are retired and should be superseded by those within the adjacent 'bionic-updates' directory structure — for example, the LTS release's apt-get default is to correlate those two structures.
Debian does not use the same directory structures, so this would be an Ubuntu-specific feature.
Discovery and workaround was in this thread: https://community.theforeman.org/t/incorrect-netboot-initrd-being-autodownloaded/14471
