Description

The options to select a provisioning method between "Boot disk based" or "Network Based" or "Image Based" exist in VMware compute resource plugin.

Trying to use image-based provisioning with foreman-xe (using version 1.21 and XCP-NG) I can't figure out how to set it up.

The https://github.com/theforeman/foreman-xen mentions:

"In order to use the cloud-init functionality users need to:

  • install the genisoimage package
  • mount a "NFS ISO Library" (as XenServer calls it) which is attached to the Xen pool to a location writable by the foreman user.
set this mount point / path as ISO library mountpoint in the compute resource"

Yet my Compute Resource has no option to specify the mountpoint.

Or have I missed something?

Update: the version 1.0.1-1 of foreman-xen I've upgraded to does have the option to specify the mountpoint. Thanks.
