Description

There are certain situations where it would be valuable to be able to set a host parameter to override the dmi.system.uuid fact on the server side rather than client side.

One example is a scenario where multiple hosts are reporting the same dmi.system.uuid and they need to be rebuilt. The usual method of overriding the fact in /etc/rhsm/facts would be meaningless when the host is rebuilt since the original value would be reported during the kickstart provisioning registration.
