Installing katello 3.15 RC1 fails with postgres conflict
Description
I followed installation instructions in https://theforeman.org/plugins/katello/3.15/installation/index.html
yum -y localinstall https://yum.theforeman.org/releases/2.0/el7/x86_64/foreman-release.rpm
yum -y localinstall https://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/releases/yum/3.15/katello/el7/x86_64/katello-repos-latest.rpm
yum -y localinstall https://yum.puppet.com/puppet6-release-el-7.noarch.rpm
yum -y localinstall https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm
yum -y install foreman-release-scl
yum -y install centos-release-scl-rh
yum -y update
yum install -y katello
Ran installer: foreman-installer --scenario katello --tuning medium --disable-system-checks
It failed with postgres related error:
[ERROR 2020-03-13T16:31:47 main] Errors encountered during run:
[ERROR 2020-03-13T16:31:47 main] Execution of '/bin/yum -d 0 -e 0 -y install rh-postgresql12-postgresql-syspaths' returned 1: Error: rh-postgresql12-postgresql-syspaths conflicts with postgresql-9.2.24-2.el7_7.x86_64
After this:
I removed postgresql manually and reran installer and it worked fine.
