Hi Folks,
Hopefully this is the correct location to log a documentation bug/suggestion. Currently Puppetlabs/ntp does not support RHEL 8 / CentOS 8.

If a user follows the quickstart examples using the current primary Foreman distro, practically speaking), the ntp module will fail. Additionally, it's probably more difficult for a new Foreman user to get the smart parameter override set up correctly for that example since the type field defaults to string and the module expects array. Then a user needs to understand how to format the array correctly within the text box. Lots of complication for a simple use-case example.

I would suggest changing the example to use puppetlabs/motd instead since it's simple enough to probably always work on every distro, and the content override is a simple string. Easy peasy.
