Description of problem:
With respect to, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1619257, this is the same issue hit by many customers again.

However, if we are not able to change the media type of select media, the correct media gets selected. But this is not the desired way.

If I change the operating system version of a parent group from let's say Redhat 8.2 to 8.3 all of the child groups become broken, to fix the issue I have to open up every single child group just to press "submit" to save them.
Version-Release number of selected components (if applicable).
