Description
After a fresh installation of foreman 2.5.2 in katello scenario we are presented with the following error:
Katello::Errors::CandlepinNotRunning
Files
OS version: RHEL 8.4
DB version: Postgresql 12.7
- Project changed from Foreman to Katello
starting to look at the logs
Hi Syone,
We are seeing "org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: database "candlepin" does not exist" in the candlepin.log
Can you run this command and see if it completes ok?
- foreman-installer --reset-data
agree to the prompts that come up and lets see if that creates the candlepin database correctly.
- Status changed from New to Rejected
- Target version set to Katello Recycle Bin
- Triaged changed from No to Yes
