Bug #35060

Deb packages uploaded in debian repository are not displayed
Added by Manisha Singhal almost 3 years ago.
Updated over 2 years ago.
Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Upload debian packages in Deb repository
2. Go to the list of debian packages of the repository, Products > Some Deb Repository > Deb packages. The api response has null value of name, version and architecture, thus, GUI has blank list of deb packages.
3. Go to Content > Content Types > Deb packages. The api response has null value of name, version and architecture, thus, GUI has blank list of deb packages.
Some additional information:
- This was still working in Katello 4.3 (I don't know about 4.4).
- We have yet to test if this affects only packages that were uploaded, or also packages that were synced to Katello.
This issue is only if you upload the deb packages. They are visible when you sync the repository.
- Target version set to Katello 4.5.0
- Triaged changed from No to Yes
- Has duplicate Bug #35163: Package list on deb repository showing empty rows. Package name, version, etc missing) added
- Status changed from New to Ready For Testing
- Assignee set to Samir Jha
- Pull request https://github.com/Katello/katello/pull/10190 added
- Triaged changed from Yes to No
- Target version changed from Katello 4.5.0 to Katello 4.6.0
- Category set to Repositories
- Target version changed from Katello 4.6.0 to Katello 4.5.1
- Status changed from Ready For Testing to Closed

Hi, I applied the patches to katello 4.4.1 install manually, and restarted services. However, package listing on existing repos still show blank rows. Re-uploading the packages to the existing repo or new one, still results in empty row. Any advice?
To expand my last comment, once the patches are applied. Delete existing repo, run remove orphan content, then recreate the repo. All packages will now have names.
