Description

For hosts which perform multiple reboots as part of their initial provisioning and configuration, bypassing the full initialization one time can reduce the provisioning time significantly. Hosts with a large number of disks or multiple expansion cards can have fairly long boot times.

This is particularity useful on hosts that perform a reboot after the first successful run of the configuration management tooling.
