In the nightlies, the 'Changeset Promotion' functionality does not match the expectation of the user and fails with a non deterministic error code resulting in a failed use case execution.

In other words, I create a change set in my Dev environment. I put it under 'Review', then 'Promote' it. According to the GUI, everything works, but, the change set doesn't show up in the Dev environment (at least not in the GUI). See screenshots below. Pardon the language, I was getting...testy.

Below, according to this, my changeset was promoted.


Where'd it go? Btw, I can show screenshots of each Environment. The Changeset isn't there.

@David Patterson currently after a changeset is promoted successfully it gets moved to the changeset history page, so I would not expect it to show up under the dev environment on the normal changeset page. I do see how this could be confusing, do you have any suggestions for improvements?

Due to recent design changes (and the fact that content views are the only thing that can be promoted now) we are planning on greatly revamping the promotion process in the future to make promotion much much simpler.

@Justin Sherrill Would the 'Changeset History' page be where one can go and see the current state of all the change sets in all environments? I'd check myself, but that page currently gives me an error ;) "undefined method `involved_products' for #<PromotionChangeset:0x00000008f390a0> (NoMethodError)" when clicking on a Changeset. I'll submit another boog report in a bit for this.

If that isn't the place to go, where would it be?
