Description
Actually the foreman repositories don't have any updateinfo.xml files in them. This file collects metadata about minor upgrades like bugfix or security fix. Some tools like yum-plugin-securiy are relying on it to apply security patches on a system.
Without this file, people using the yum plugin extensively will not apply the security fixes that foreman publish.
If you are using pulp for repository management, creating errata is easy =)
Here is for the record the pulp wiki page describing the updateinfo.xml format a little : https://www.fedorahosted.org/pulp/wiki/Errata
