Description

The autocomplete in content views is not ideal since it only matches from the beginning of string when offering choices: "org" does not yield a match for "Default Organization View".

Completion like is available in foreman scoped search autocomplete may result in nicer experience in matching. Another choice may be a different selection mechanism entirely (popup list or something?).

The goal would be to put less burden on user to recall specific names of content views.

History

#1 Updated by Eric Helms over 7 years ago

  • Status changed from New to Rejected
  • Triaged changed from No to Yes

Given we are moving away from content search in favor of other interactions, this feature request no longer makes sense. Autocomplete will be provided in other parts of the application.

#2 Updated by Eric Helms almost 6 years ago

  • Legacy Backlogs Release (now unused) set to 166
