We have a request to send daily summaries per host group as different teams own different host groups in our organisation and would like it to be possible send these summaries. After some thought, the best approach to this seems to be if the "Additional Information" tab was added to be the host group configuration, which would mean a host group has an owner/email address associated with it and this address can be used to send daily summaries by getting a list of all hosts in each host group that has an owner defined.

This seems a better way than to associate owners to an environment as host groups for different environments could inherit the same base host group, and has the added bonus of populating this information when creating a host which a user can always change if need be.
