Description

The goal is this is to help users identify systems that haven't checked in recently (the 4 hour sub-man window) to determine if there are network issues or that the system may no longer exist in reality. Currently, if a number of hosts are registered, but never unregistered (for example, Openstack has their own provisioning method whereby they register the nodes to get errata data) then there will be an explosion of content hosts that always show good status.
