Smart Proxy name incorrectly allows " " characters
Description
If you named a smart-proxy with a name with spaces, e.g., "Azure 6 East US", the UI accepts the value, but then attempting to edit/manage the smart proxy through the WebUI fails.
The UI then links a browser to "https://foremanurl.com/smart_proxies/4-Azure%206%20East%20US%202" (Firefox displays a literal " " instead of %20)

If you click "edit" and then rename the smart proxy to something without spaces, everything is functional again.

The UI also allows ()'s. and presumably other characters that will break the UI when trying to access the smart-proxy.

I think the bug you're reporting is the error "unknown attribute 'status' for Class.", which is tracked already as #19142.
I'm not sure why this would be linked to the naming, the smart proxy name should support most alphabetical characters, like other name fields in the application. Do you have any information linking these two things?

Since I opened that ticket, I can tell you I've encountered both of these on the same exact server. :-)
This one is interesting since I was able to "fix" it by renaming the Smart-Proxy to only include alpha-numeric + dashes. Perhaps the problem in #19142 is similar, and there are unexpected characters/values in certain facts that are trying to be filtered?

I think you should add this information to the existing ticket then, as supporting spaces in a smart proxy name isn't a bug, it is intentional.

I'm not sure I was clear, then - if it is supported, it doesn't work. If you name a smart proxy with a space, you get the "unknown attribute 'status' for Class." all across the WebUI

It is supported, and if that's the cause of #19142 then we can continue to use that ticket. I don't think this one is necessary if it's the same issue.
(Incidentally, I can't reproduce either.)
