Bug #8019
closedJavascript en locale files contain fuzzy English-English translations
Description
Since my routine i18n pull in https://github.com/theforeman/foreman/commit/7501834b766d3f9b39a4a0a298c69eb8f0b03f42, some of the English Javascript locale files contain fuzzy translations.
e.g. app/assets/javascripts/locale/en/app.js contains "password match" => "Password hash"
What appears to be happening is that the makefile i18n update is doing a "rake locale:find", which does a "rake gettext:find" first, which updates all of the .po files too, then runs a "rake gettext:po_to_json". The .po update is actually including fuzzy translations of the English source, so this appears among a few others:
#, fuzzy msgid "password match" msgstr "Password hash"
And then this is getting incorporated into the Javascript locale files. This doesn't affect the .po files in the end, as they are reverted back to what Transifex supplies.
