Description

Cloned from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1972308

Checking Monitor > Facts > searching for 'name = "lscpu::socket(s)"' the chart presented shows 8 fact fields but the chart only renders 7 of those fields. See attached screenshot showing the black field is missing entirely. Mousing over the field reveals nothing (it's missing completely).

As agreed in the BZ, the suggestion is to remove the functionality

  • Subject changed from socket facts chart fails to render completely to socket facts chart fails to render completely

FWIW, I'll put my hand up as a user that uses the Facts chart feature. Normally to get a breakdown of things like installed puppet version across my estate.

Interesting, you're the first one :-) I asked many people at FOSDEM and cfgmgmt camp and they didn't really see the value. Is there another way for you to achieve this? How do you deal with the fact that when you have 8 values the 8th (every 8th) value is invisible?
